Mr. Steve Smith Director of Bands - smithsj@lisd.net Mr. Smith will be in his eleventh year as a band director in the Lewisville I.S.D. Mr. Smith, a saxophone and euphonium player, is a graduate of the University of North Texas. He will be teaching the beginning woodwind classes for the upcoming year as well as the Symphonic and Concert Bands. He is an avid Dallas Stars fan and looks forward to a new season. Go Stars!! Ms. Jennifer Pritchard Associate Band Director - pritchardj@lisd.net Ms. Pritchard will be starting her sixth year of teaching and her second here at Downing Middle School. She is a Horn player and recently received her Master's Degree in Horn Performance from The University of Texas at Austin. She will be teaching the beginning brass classes for the upcoming year as well as the Concert and Symphonic Bands. Prior to going back to school, Ms. Pritchard taught for four years in the San Antonio area. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Texas Christian University . She is also a huge Harry Potter fan!! Ms. Pritchard is a proud mom to Cholula the Chihuahua!! Mr. Kennan Wylie Director of Percussion - wyliek@lisd.net Mr. Wylie has been the Director of Percussion at Marcus High School for many years and has led the Marcus Drumline to several national championships. He is a graduate of the University of North Texas . He will be teaching the beginning percussion classes and will work with the 7th and 8th grade percussionists on a regular basis.
